FAQ’s

Q.
What if my kids don’t have a strong Jewish background?

A.  That’s fine. The Jewish U requires no previous knowledge whatsoever. Kids don’t need to know how to read Hebrew nor do they need to know anything about Judaism.

And 95% of the families involved don’t describe themselves as “religious.” That means that your kids will be together with other Jewish kids with very similar family backgrounds.

Q.  What exactly will our children learn?

A.  The curriculum for Jewish U will aim to foster a lasting, positive impact on the life   of the child, through drama, song, art and stories. A special focus of the program will be to teach the children how to read Hebrew using a new innovative method called Aleph Champ. Based on the martial arts motivational philosophy of color coded levels and testing, Aleph Champ provides excitement and inspiration, leading the students into a winning cycle of learning.

Q. Do we need to be members of Chabad?

A. Absolutely not. We are a membership-free organization, dedicated to bringing Jewish education to our community. All you need is an open mind and a sincere desire to learn more about your religion. .

Q. I’m interested – what should I do now?
